April Meeting

When:  April 24, 2008 1:00 PM

Where:  HomeTown Buffet in Santa Ana on Bristol at Warner

Topic: Don’t Let the Bad Guys Get Away—Take the Guesswork Out of Video Specification

Summary: Take the guesswork out of video specification and learn
how to design a Pixels-

per-Foot video surveillance system. Recognize how success depends on the design of the video system.

Abstract: Too often, poor video system design results in images that are letting criminals get away. By designing a “Pixels-Per-Foot” video surveillance system, installers and end-users will get an accurate sense of how many cameras are needed to effectively

monitor a facility with predictable image quality. The days of blurry bank-robber photos and unusable video feeds are behind us, as we’ll demonstrate why TVL was then, pixels are now. With this innovative, proven strategy for system specification, audience members will clearly see how a properly designed system can provide lower total cost of ownership and consistently exceed the end user’s expectations.
