LAS VEGAS CHAPTER NEEDS YOUR HELP--CONVENTION VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!  
Las Vegas is seeking volunteers for the following activities:  
Packet Stuffing (Saturday Sept 22)
Information Booth (All week-we need individuals for the entire week)
 
Golf Tournament (Sunday September 23)
 
Foundation Handgun Competition (Sunday September 23) we need range safety officers, scorers and general volunteers.
 
Exhibit Hall Door Prize (all week)
 
Speaker Moderator Assistants (all week)
 
Evaluations (Thursday September 27)
 
We have an opportunity for everyone.

CCPOA

September 5,6,7  at the Omni San Diego Hotel is sponsoring their 33rd Annual California Crime Prevention Officer's Association Training conference.     For more information, please check the CCPOA website www.ccpoa.us or contact Tina shook at 951 353-7689.

Monthly meetings have moved to Hometown Buffet on Bristol at Warner (2321 S. Bristol) in Santa Ana. The time is still 11:15, except when we have extended educational sessions when those meetings will start at 1:00 and end at 4:00PM

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:

Volunteers are needed throughout the years to assist with major chapter events. We also have positions open on the Leadership Board. Certification points are earned by those who volunteer.

EDUCATION SESSIONS:

The Orange County Chapter will be offering extended educational sessions at three of our regular meetings. Speakers will be presenting for two full hours after lunch and our general business meeting. ASIS has approved 1 point per hour of educational instruction  towards certification points for those who attend the extended meetings. Unless otherwise stated, extended educational meetings will be held at Hometown Buffet from 1:00 to 4:00 pm. Unfortunately they cannot accommodate us on a Friday due to their high volume of customers.
